Will this scope hold zero on my muzzleloader?
I loaded a 350gr .50cal hornady bullet with 150 grs 777. The recoil is the most I've ever handled. Three shots is my max. The recoil destroyed the zero of the T/C's cheaper Nikon Prostaff scope. I could tell because L/R adjustment held while U/D traveled up with each shot.
I want to retire the Prostaff to my .22 and mount a Bushnell Trophy Series Scope onto the .50 cal T/C. The scope is 3-9x with a 42? mm AO front lense. This scope has been on the .22 up to now.
Do you think the Bushnell Tropy will hold zero with this 150gr/ 350gr load? Thanks.

Yes, you shouldnt have any problems with that scope. I have even used low end scopes like Tasco on ML'ers with no issues. You are using a Mag powder charge but the Bushnell Trophy should stay dialed to zero with no issues....
