Which Red Dot sight should I get?
I am looking to get a 270 BAR within the next year or so, and I will be mainly using this for varmits and target shooting. I know I want to get a scope on it but am not sure what would work the best. I would think red Dot Sights would tolerate the high powered semiautomatic better than a normal scope, but I'm not sure if that would be sufficient for a 150-200 yard shot. Any suggestions of products under $250-300 would be very appreciated. Thanks!
The last thing you want for a Varmint Rifle or Target Rifle is a red dot, you want a medium power magnification fine cross hair reticule for precision shooting. A red dot on average is going to be anywhere from 2 to 4 MOA at 100 yards, that means at 100 yards, the red dot is covering anywhere from 2 to 4 inches, or larger, of your intended target.
